Have you ever driven past a gorgeous home and wondered what it would look like inside? Well, your chance to view new luxury homes in Arlington is coming this fall.
The 22nd Kaleidoscope of Homes tour benefiting Mission Arlington opens October 3 at Viridian, a $2 billion master-planned community in North Arlington near the Trinity River. The event will run every Friday, Saturday and Sunday in October.
Organizers expect this year's luxury home tour to attract more than 30,000 visitors from surrounding cities including Grapevine, Fort Worth, Southlake, Hurst, Euless, Keller, Park Cities and North Richland Hills.
"The City is very excited about being able to showcase Arlington as a great place to live, work and play through our hosting of the prestigious Kaleidoscope of Homes at Viridian," said Jim Parajon, Director of Community Development and Planning.
The Kaleidoscope of Homes offers something for everyone, demonstrating some of today's newest and best architectural design features, interior decorating, consumer electronics, appliance, building products, technology and multimedia offerings.
With six homes at Viridian valued at more than $4.5 million, the Kaleidoscope of Homes is one of the most exciting single-site new home showcases in the country. Take a few moments, or a few hours, to tour magnificent estate homes with luxurious decor, lavish amenities and creative ideas at every turn. Home builders include Village Homes, Gladarroch Homes, M. Christopher custom Builder, Plantation Homes, Drees Custom Homes and David Weekley Homes.
Presented by the Greater Fort Worth Builders Association, this annual home tour has become a popular destination among real estate professionals, architects and North Texas homeowners.
According to event organizers, "Viridian offered the perfect combination of a prestigious address, an unparalleled location and a unique ambiance surrounding by nature."
Viridian is a 2,300-acre community featuring a nature preserve with five major lakes, 600 acres of open space and an additional 600 acres of lakes, rivers, streams and wetlands. Once complete - which is estimated to be around 2022 - Viridian will feature more than 3,000 single-family homes. Additionally, Viridian Village will feature trendy commercial retail spaces, restaurants, entertainment and offices.
The Greater Fort Worth Builders Association is teaming up with Viridian to present the 2014 Kaleidoscope of Homes.
