"Hunter" is our featured Dog of the Week at Arlington Animal Services. A beautiful tri-colored female Treeing Walker Coonhound Mix, Hunter is a sweet girl who loves affection and attention. Well behaved, Hunter listens well on a leash and loves to please people. With affection and positive reinforcement while being trained she enjoys playing fetch with stuffed animals and balls. Approximately three years old, Hunter weighs approximately 60 pounds and is considered a large-sized dog. Known to be wonderful family dogs, Coonhounds have loads of energy and enjoy an active lifestyle. This girl is no exception, with her favorite "hobby" including following the scents when being walked and while enjoying her outside time here at the center. Hunter has great manners, is very friendly and would do best in a home with an active family who has a large yard and no cats. If this sounds like your family, we encourage you to come and meet with Hunter today! She is currently available for adoption and ready for her forever home. Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, microchip, spay and 30 days free pet insurance. Be sure to take advantage of the current adoption special here at Arlington Animal Services. Hunter's adoption fee is 50% off until August 1, 2014. Located in Dog Adoption 2, ID number 23365023, she's looking forward to meeting with you and finding her new forever home today!
