FootGolf Grand Opening Aug. 2 at Meadowbrook Park Golf

The Arlington Parks and Recreation Department will "kick off" its new FootGolf course at Meadowbrook Park Golf Course with FREE green fees from 12:00-6:00 p.m., on Saturday, Aug. 2.

FootGolf is a combination of the popular sports of soccer and golf. Instead of golf clubs and golf balls, the game is played with a soccer ball and a 21-inch diameter cup. The rules mostly correlate with the rules of golf. While FootGolf is played throughout the world, it is estimated there are only 180 courses across the United States. The Meadowbrook Park Golf Course is the second course to open in DFW.
