Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. Sign to be Unveiled

In addition to numerous events scheduled around the City this week, the City of Arlington will honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with commemorative signs installed at sixteen intersections along Center Street from Randol Mill Road to Pioneer Parkway. The six-foot sign was a collaborative effort between the City of Arlington and members of the Mount Olive Baptist Church in Arlington.

Mayor Robert Cluck, an ethnically-diverse group of pastors, Arlington City Council, the City of Arlington, the Arlington MLK Celebration Committee and the NAACP will be on hand for Jan. 16 unveiling.
