Rangers Announce Upgrades, New Ticket Prices and New Partner

Looking to save a few bucks on Texas Rangers tickets this season? If so, here's some good news for fans: the club is reducing the price of advance individual tickets on more than 90 percent of the seats at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington.

The team said that all seating sections will be subject to dynamic ticket pricing this season, which means adult ticket prices could be adjusted higher or lower for certain games based on market demand and factors such as pitching matchups, day of the week and weather.

The team has also lowered the number of premier games - which tend to be more expensive - by eight. Fans should see more affordable ticket prices for most of the premier games on the schedule.

Tickets for next season (except Opening Day) go on sale at 9:00 a.m. March 1. Fans can enter a lottery for Opening Day tickets Feb. 3-19 on the Texas Rangers website. Texas opens at home March 31 against the Philadelphia Phillies.

Ballpark renovations

The Texas Rangers have signed a three-year partnership with Jack Daniel's that includes the naming rights to the Diamond Club at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. That 14,381 square foot facility is being completely renovated as part of the ballpark construction upgrades for the 2014 season. The Jack Daniel's Club, featuring a full buffet and bar, will be open to all season ticket holders before and during home games.

In addition to The Jack Daniel's Club, the Rangers are replacing 1,098 seats in the Upper Level suites, overhauling the suite kitchen on the club concourse and installing LED lighting on the relief panels on the exterior of the park.

The Rangers have spent approximately $40 million in ballpark improvements and upgrades over the past four seasons.
