Say the title of this article out loud five times as fast as you can. Quick, turn to the person next to you and challenge them to see who can say it the fastest! Now that you're in the mood for some more fun, and the outdoor temperatures are climbing, it's time to get outside and enjoy what else....FOOD!

The food truck craze that continues to sweep across the nation has officially hit the DFW Metroplex and your Arlington Parks and Recreation Department. The APRD has created a way for residents and really anyone who is hankering for some awesome food truck eats and treats to get your fill.

"We wanted to do something where people could enjoy good food at the Founders Plaza park lawn with their friends," said Rental and Lake Services Manager Michael Debrecht. "Three different food trucks each week will be there to sell their wares."

"Food Truck Fridays" will start on Friday, March 21 and continue through Friday, April 18 at Founders Plaza, located at 100 West Abram Street.

It will revolve around lunchtime, with trucks being there from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm. And, if the off-the-hook eats and gorgeous spring weather wasn't enough to bring you out to the event, APRD staff members are hard at work trying to get some LIVE MUSIC going from local bands as well. Good food, great friends, beautiful weather and live music. Isn't that what it's all about?
