Baylor head coach Art Briles and Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio addressed the media today as both teams prepare for this Thursday's Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX.

This marks the second visit this season for Briles and the Baylor Bears to AT&T Stadium. Earlier this season, Baylor faced Big 12 rival Texas Tech in the Texas Farm Bureau Insurance Shootout.

Baylor (11-1) won that game 48-46 after the team was able to hold off a relentless comeback effort by Texas Tech in the 2nd half.

When asked if playing in Arlington, TX once already this season gives his team an advantage, Briles said he hopes so, but that his team won't be counting on anything when it's time for kickoff.

"It will be a wow factor Thursday once that stadium is full of people. But once the ball is teed up, it will come down to who the better team is on the field," Briles said.

The Cotton Bowl Classic will be the first time Michigan State has ever played at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

The Spartans finished the regular season with a 10-2 record, good enough for 2nd place in the East division of the Big Ten.

Kickoff for the Cotton Bowl starts at 11:45 a.m. on New Year's Day and the game will be televised nationally on ESPN.

The first-ever College Football Playoff National Championship game will also be played at AT&T Stadium on Monday, January 12.
