UTA Volleyball: Maverick Classic

Check out one of the fastest games in town when the UT Arlington volleyball team opens the season Friday in the College Park Maverick Classic at College Park Center. The Mavericks face Incarnate Word at 7 p.m. The two-day tournament runs through Aug. 30 and includes Denver and Jackson State. Live Music Returns to Levitt Pavilion

Bring your lawn chair and enjoy free music this weekend at Levitt Pavilion, as the Everything Energy Fall Concert Series open Friday and runs through September 28 with concerts Friday, Saturday and Sundays. This weekend's shows begin at 8 p.m.

Friday: Grammy-winning Brave Combo brings its dynamic polka sound to Arlington.

Saturday: Hear Ambrosia's sweet sounds of unforgettable pop/rock from the 1970s.

Sunday: Americana duo Bruce Robison & Kelly Willis is celebrating its latest release, Our Year

Advocare Cowboys Classic: Florida State vs Oklahoma State

A new era of college football begins Saturday night in Arlington as Florida State, the defending national champs, brings its high octane offense to Arlington to face the Oklahoma State Cowboys in a prime time matchup at AT&T Stadium. Kick-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tickets are still available for the game.
