Levitt Pavilion Arlington opens its fifth year of free music under the stars on Memorial Day weekend with the second annual Downtown Center Stage Music Festival, one of its biggest opening weekend line-ups yet and Foreigner for its annual benefit concert!

First on the Levitt stage for 2013 will be Delta Rae, the up-and-coming alt/pop band that was victim to one of the few concert rain-outs last year. Since they were originally booked for the Levitt, Delta Rae has played an event for First Lady Michelle Obama and appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Conan O'Brien and Last Call with Carson Daly. Their concert kicks off the Texas Power 2013 Summer Concert Series on Friday, May 24.

The three-day Downtown Arlington Center Stage Music Festival continues May 25 with Dallas' own Polyphonic Spree, the hard-to-describe 20-member pop choir. Popular area band The Old 97's takes the stage to conclude the festival on Sunday, May 26. Opening acts will be included on Saturday and Sunday, including Telegraph Canyon and Ryan Hamilton.

The music festival is free and includes Downtown Arlington restaurants set up at the Levitt to sell food from their menus. The festival is sponsored by Downtown Arlington Management Corp., University of Texas at Arlington, FW Weekly and Experience Arlington.

The Texas Power 2013 Summer Concert Series includes favorite artists from the Levitt's first five years plus an array of new artists playing the Levitt for the first time. Returning favorites include Trout Fishing in America, Big Sam's Funky Nation, Spoonfed Tribe, Eleven Hundred Springs, Sara Hickman, Del Castillo, The Quebe Sisters Band, Danny Wright and Radney Foster. New artists include country/rock pioneer Chip Taylor, Uncle Lucius, Texas icons The Lightcrust Doughboys, blues guitarist Monte Montgomery and zydeco Grammy winner Chubby Carrier. Atlanta Rhythm Section ("Spooky,' "So Into You,' "Imaginary Lover') will perform for Light Up Arlington! on July 3.

The Levitt's popular Children's Concert Series runs on Wednesdays May 29 through June 26 at 9:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Artists include the Emmy-winning Biscuit Brothers, Shannon Wurst, Lannaya West African Drum & Dance Ensemble, Lone Star Circusand Vocal Trash.
