Arlington Farmers Market Art Festival Returns

Looking for original, affordable, high-quality fine art and crafts? Check out the Downtown Arlington Farmers Market's premier visual arts festival featuring local artists displaying and selling their wares. Don't miss the live music, artisan foods, and special art creation area for kids. The Downtown Arlington Farmers Market is located at 201 E. Front Street. 8am-1pm on Saturday. Admission and parking are FREE.

Put On Your Boogie Shoes!

Enjoy an entertaining evening in Downtown Arlington and help support literacy! The Arlington Public Library Foundation is hosting its Retro Downtown Crawl this Saturday from 5-11pm, so put on your coolest polyester and join the crowd. Enjoy special discounts as you travel from one downtown restaurant to another throughout the evening. A $5 wristband provides special discounts at participating restaurants. All proceeds benefit the 2013 Summer Reading Club.

Arlington Family Expo

Improve your personal and financial health by attending the 17th Annual Arlington Family Expo at Veda Knox Elementary School, 2315 Stonegate Drive. "Securing Our Health and Building Our Wealth' will address today's growing need for financial responsibility and overall health. There will be activities for kids of all ages, exhibitors, seminars, health and fitness demos, cooking demo and a small business panel. 9:30am-2pm on Saturday. FREE admission and parking.

Chics Who Click Exhibit at AMA

The Rooftop Gallery at the Arlington Museum of Art is hosting an exhibit featuring the works of Chics Who Click, a local group of women photographers from all backgrounds, ages and photographic skill level. Thirty-one members will showcase their images during this six-month exhibit. Images will change each month. Some of the artwork will be for sale; proceeds to benefit the Arlington Museum of Art. 10am : 5pm on Friday and Saturday; 1pm-5pm on Sunday. $8 for adults; $5 for seniors/students.

Teddy Bear Picnic

Grab a blanket, a packed lunch, family, friends and a special teddy bear and head to Levitt Pavilion, 100 W. Abram Street, for the second annual Teddy Bear Picnic presented by the Arlington Public Library. Enjoy story time fun, large parachute play, crafts and a parade around the perimeter of the Levitt Pavilion! This program is primarily for preschool children, but all family members are welcome. 11am-1pm on Saturday.
