“I Love Arlington” Pic of the Week3

Congratulations to W. Patrick Jones winner of the "I Love Arlington'Pic of the Week!

This week's theme was "close-ups'and if you've ever tried one you may know that the results can be varied. But when done well, a close up can capture something special; like the amazing splendor of budding flower, or the intricate details of an insect sitting on a perch.

We had to seek the help of our Facebook community this week to break a tie between a stunning image of a red rose by Ester Trevino and an image of a three-year old boy "just being himself'.

Both shots are great, but in the end the boy proved irresistible with his childish charm, we love the tilted angle that frames his unique expression, and yes, those adorable cheeks.
