If you put your leaves out with curbside trash
Republic will pick up leaves placed curbside according to the following rule: On the first service day, all trash is picked up and one cubic yard of leaves is collected. On the second service day, all leaves and trash are collected.
From November 14, 2022, through January 16, 2023, Arlington residents may bring bagged leaves to the following collection sites for free leaf recycling.
- Arlington Landfill: 800 Mosier Valley Road
- UTA Baseball parking lot on Mitchell St., east of Fielder Road
- S.J. Stovall Park: 2800 W. Sublett Road
- Bowman Springs Park: 7003 W. Poly Webb Road
- Veterans Park: Second parking lot/Spanish Trail entrance - 3600 W. Arkansas Lane
- Randol Mill Park: 1901 W Randol Mill Road
- Cravens Park – 400 Cravens Park Drive
In an effort to improve the environment and our community, this service is provided by the City of Arlington for Arlington residents only.
If the dumpsters are full, please neatly stack the bags next to the dumpster.
Dumpster service dates depend on frequency of use. To start, the dumpsters will be serviced twice a week, Fridays and Mondays. If you notice the dumpsters overfilling, please email us at [email protected] to report it.
When taking leaves to one of the drop off sites or the Arlington landfill, please remember that kraft and compostable lawn bags are preferred. Plastic bags are also accepted but will need to be debagged at the landfill.

If you have a contractor who will rake and bag your leaves, let them know that they can take them to the landfill. They will have to de-bag the leaves at the facility. For information call 817-354-2300. Contractors are NOT allowed to drop off leaves at the other sites.
