2024 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Closings and Service Schedules in Arlington
Many City of Arlington municipal offices and facilities will be closed on Monday, Jan. 15, 2024, in observance of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday.
Residential garbage and recycling collection will occur as scheduled on Monday, Jan. 15. Regular office hours and service schedules will resume Tuesday, Jan. 16.

- East Library and Recreation Center (library will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.)
- Elzie Odom Athletic Center
- Cliff Nelson Recreation Center
- Dottie Lynn Recreation Center
- Arlington Tennis Center
- Lake Arlington operations, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Meadowbrook Park Golf Course Pro Shop open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Course will be closed due to the weather.
- Texas Rangers Golf Club Pro Shop open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Course will be closed due to the weather. Home Plate Restaurant will be open regular hours.
- Lake Arlington Golf Course Pro Shop open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Course will be closed due to the weather.
- Tierra Verde Golf Club Pro Shop open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Course will be closed due to the weather. Ventana Grille Restaurant will be open regular hours.

Garbage and recycling will not be picked up New Year’s Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas.
