The Federal Aviation Administration released the latest update to the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems (NPIAS) and designated the Arlington Municipal Airport as a National Airport. The Arlington Municipal Airport is one of 14 National Airports in Texas and one of 107 National Airports in the United States.

“The designation of National Airport in the NPIAS validates the current operational climate and based aircraft tenants utilizing the vast services provided at Arlington Municipal Airport,” Airport Manager Trent Ballard said.
