Dog of the Week - Meet Capone

This four-year-old male Pit Bull Terrier mix is grey and white in color. Capone is what we are considering an "in-betweener" dog—not an over-the-top personality nor a real lap lover either. Seems to be an easy going soul— a very even keel kind of a guy. Not much gets him energized. He's perfectly content to sit and people (or dog) watch. At times, Capone will have a burst of energy and then he seems to remember he enjoys being more relaxed. We say he is more into "adulting". A family that would encourage him to flex his muscles during exercise time would be a good match for this canine. Capone is a VIP pet due to his length of time in the shelter. Second Dog of the Week – Meet Trigger

This three-year, three-month-old male Hound, Cur mix is black and tan in color and weighs 68 pounds. Trigger has been at the shelter before and is in search of the "happy tale" he's heard about—the one with the happy ending. Somewhat "Goofy" inside and out, he could give that cartoon character a run for his money. Loving and curious, Trigger will come check on you if you don't follow him around on walks. While he likes to be close to a human, he also likes to be out and about exercising his adventurous heart. Another one of our VIP pets, Trigger is available at a reduced adoption fee.
