Public Feedback Sought

The City of Arlington has received a community stakeholder request to install honorary street sign toppers along Southeast Green Oaks Boulevard between Sherry Street and Sherburne Street in honor of Dr. Ronnie Goines, pastor of Koinonia Church.

A map of the extent of the sign toppers is shown below.

Honorary street sign toppers do not change the official name of the street and do not affect addressing, navigation, mailing, or deliveries. The official name of the street between Sherry Street and Sherburne Street would remain Southeast Green Oaks Boulevard. An image of the existing street sign topper is shown below.

A 30-day public comment period on this proposal will be open from Oct. 17 to Nov. 16, 2022. Please click here to access a comment form below to provide feedback on this proposal.

The City Council will review the information received on Nov. 29, 2022, and will make a determination on whether the proposal will move forward.
