The Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation today announced that eight-time Entertainer of the Year Award-winner Kenny Chesney will headline the 2023 TEX Gala on Thursday, April 20, at 6 p.m. at Globe Life Field.

Individual tickets and tables for the 2023 TEX Gala are on sale now and available for purchase at texasrangers.com/texgala. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation and its mission to improve the lives of children, military, first responders, and their families in the North Texas community and beyond. 

Event attendees will experience a red-carpet arrival and enjoy cocktail hour and dinner on the playing surface of Globe Life Field. Live and silent auctions will feature exclusive Rangers experiences and an assortment of sports and Hollywood memorabilia. The evening will culminate in a performance from the man the Los Angeles Times called “the People’s Superstar,” Chesney.

Chesney has won eight Entertainer of the Year Awards (four consecutive from the Academy of Country Music, four from the Country Music Association), enjoyed 34 No. 1s, making him Billboard’s #1 Country Singles artist, and sold more than a million tickets on each of his headlining tours. His Here And Now 2022 Tour played 21 stadium shows to 1.3 million people alone.
