Community Action Partners, which serves residents in Tarrant County, will be having a special intake session for Arlington Water Utilities customers on Friday, Aug. 5, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at their Arlington office, at 401 W. Sanford St.

Customers in need of bill assistance can fill out paperwork at the event for the Low Income Household Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP), a federally funded assistance program for those meeting certain income requirements. While the program is administered by the City of Fort Worth, it is available to all Tarrant County residents who qualify based on income. Many Arlington customers have already received assistance paying past due water bills through the program.
