Arlington’s Lego Brick Budget Video Takes Home Two First-Place Honors at 28th Annual Communicator Awards

The City of Arlington’s FY2022 Lego Brick Budget Video won two first-place awards at the 28th Annual Communicator Awards presented by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts. The two categories were Animation Film/Video/TV and Government Relations Video. With more than 4,000 entries received from across the U.S. and around the world, the Communicator Awards is the largest and most competitive awards program honoring creative excellence for communications professionals. 

The City of Arlington was honored to receive seven overall awards, including five first-place awards, at the annual Texas Association of Municipal Information Officers (TAMIO) conference in Houston on June 9, 2022.

In addition to the City of Arlington’s Office of Communication, winners who received the competition’s highest honor, the Award of Excellence, include Forbes, The Walt Disney Company Europe & Africa, Mattel, State Farm, Philips, T-Mobile, Yes& Agency, PepsiCo, Groove Jones and many more.  The Communicator Awards are judged and curated by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA). The AIVA is an assembly of leading professionals from various disciplines of the visual arts dedicated to embracing progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive media.
