Dog of the Week – Meet Panda

This seven-year-old male Pit Bull Terrier mix is white and black in color and weighs 53 pounds. Our dog of the week is looking for the opportunity to be adopted and maybe become as famous as another previous "panda" dog from the shelter that gained fame in People magazine. His sweet disposition is sure to win you over. His uniqueness shows in his friendliness, his happy go lucky style and that "smile" he seems to smile. Panda has been tested as heartworm positive so he's eager to find a new pet guardian that will follow through with the necessary heartworm treatment. While he might prefer a quiet household, he's just looking for a loving family to call his own. With a reduced adoption fee due to his VIP status, it's time to consider Panda as your next "snuggle buddy". Meet Panda at Dog Adoptions (DA) 16, His ID number is A50288856.

Dog of the Week – Meet Brownie

This six-year-old Rottweiler mix is black and brown in color and weighs 80 pounds. Our second dog of the week is a VIP pet due to the length of time she's been in the shelter. A beautiful dog on the outside--she seems to be a beauty on the inside as well. She loves toys (and treats). Exhibiting a little shyness at first, she tends to form fast friendships. Hanging out with the staff or volunteers is one of her favorite things to do. Brownie was owner surrendered along with her housemate, Panda, due to her owner moving. And, yes, that is the same Panda featured as the first dog of the week. They probably would love to be adopted together, but the main thing is they each just need to be adopted. Give Brownie her "independence" before the fourth of July so she can join in the celebration. Meet Brownie in Dog Adoptions (DA_ 19, her ID number is A50288787.

Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, alteration, microchip and 30 days free pet insurance.
