On Monday, June 13, 2022 at approximately 12:06 a.m., the Arlington Police Department responded to a single-vehicle rollover crash in the 2900 block of E. Abram Street.

Witnesses told officers a black 2003 Toyota Tacoma that was traveling eastbound along Abram Street left the roadway, struck a utility pole, then rolled multiple times.

The driver of the pickup, a 24-year-old male, was pronounced deceased at the scene. A 23-year-old front seat passenger, who was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, was ejected from the vehicle. He was transported to an area hospital in serious condition.

Investigators believe speed and alcohol were contributing factors to the crash.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the deceased once next of kin have been notified.
