In the latest episode of Arlington Eats, host Cynthia Lemus visits Awesome Catering DFW, a family-owned small business that provides food service for your special celebration.
Daniela and Jorge Ventura started the business 11 years ago after a friend asked them to recommend a catering service for his wedding. Without hesitation, they decided to cook for their friend’s wedding and since then, they have dedicated their talents in the kitchen to create special moments for their customers.
“There is no party without food. You always have to have something to eat, or it is not going to be a good party,” Jorge Ventura said.
Awesome Catering DFW has an open menu and in 11 years, the couple has cooked Italian, Mexican, and Thai cuisine, and the list goes on and on.
“Our menu is pretty inclusive. We have a lot of different types of food, but our specialty is American food, and American food is basically a little bit of everything.”
Jorge and Daniela are looking to expand their business by acquiring a ballroom to be able to offer a complete service to their customers.
“Well Arlington is home, Arlington is great, you know the community is diverse and it is very nice, as I went to difficult times last year a lot of people help me out here.”
