Dog of the Week – Meet Adele
This four-year-old female Pit Bull Terrier mix is yellow and white in color and weighs 54 pounds. "Hello...it's me-was wondering if after all these days you'd like to meet..." That is the song that this canine, Adele, would be singing since she's been a shelter resident for more than 37 days. She'd really like to meet someone that would become her new pet guardian. Hanging out with people is what she loves best and being petted. Taking treats gently and walking well on a leash (after the "let's go" from the kennel) are some of her endearing actions. A loving family atmosphere would probably work well for her. Adele is saying (in song titles by Adele the singer)--"All I Ask" is "To Be Loved" by "Someone Like You". Second Dog of the Week – Meet Patricia
This eight-years-four-months-old female Pit Bull Terrier mix is blue and cream (brindle) in color and weighs 57 pounds. Although Patricia is considered a senior pet, she doesn't act like it. The shelter has been at capacity for quite a while and Patricia is another one of our longer time residents clocking in at over 40 days. She hasn't overstayed her welcome as she is one of the sweetest dogs and she seems to revel in knowing it. As seen by her photo she seems to radiate and her happiness can be contagious. A great addition to share in your summertime fun, Patricia would probably be the best photo bomber if given the chance! She likes going on walks, exploring and meeting friends. There exists in her mind the notion that she is a lap dog so good luck with that.
