With summer just around the corner, Tarrant County College is opening registration in early May for its College for Kids youth camps, which are designed to give students fun, yet challenging experiences in academic, arts and crafts, science and technology, and health and fitness courses. For example, students can learn basic acting skills, improve their financial literacy or experience hands-on activities in engineering.

CFK is a three-week summer enrichment program for children in the third through eighth grades. Courses are taught by experienced and motivated faculty who encourage and challenge students in an atmosphere that supports inquiry and exploration. This program underscores TCC’s commitment to serving the community.
Students can participate in College for Kids at one of the following campuses: TCC Northeast, TCC Northwest, TCC South, TCC Southeast or TCC Trinity River.
Classes will be held Monday through Thursday. The cost is $200 per half-day session, which is a total of four classes. Campuses also offer full day, which is $400 for a total of eight classes.
In order to participate in College for Kids, students must have an A or B average on their most recent report card, progress report or transcript.
