Cat of the Week – Meet Mint

This two-year-old female Domestic Longhair is a white and blue Calico. Our feline representative this week is a staff favorite at the shelter. Mint seems to have an outgoing personality (for a cat!) as she is friendly and affectionate. She loves to interact with anyone that will come by and interact with her. Her internal motor seems to be in good order as she can be a purring machine. Playing with a string toy is enticing and she won't give up until she is successful at getting her "prey". She is a FELV positive cat so a new pet guardian should be able to provide regular vet care that can improve her quality of life. Meet Mint in Cat Adoptions (CA) 21, her ID number is A49285657. A reduced adoption fee awaits a new pet guardian for an adoption that is "Mint" to be.

Dog of the Week – Meet CoCo

This four-year, three-month-old male Retriever mix is black and white in color and weighs 66 pounds. One of the longest staying residents at the shelter is CoCo "clocking in" at almost three months. He desperately is in need of new "furever" home. While he can be somewhat shy at first, he quickly shows that he's a friendly guy. Outings with the amazing volunteers that come to the shelter to socialize animals are a highlight for CoCo. He doesn't seem as interested in toys but does like treats and affection. Meeting potential adoptive families is something he looks forward to-he just hasn't found the right match yet. Due to his length of time in the shelter CoCo is considered a VIP pet with a reduced adoption fee. Meet CoCo in Dog Adoptions (DA) 25; his ID number is A4880904. Don't make him wait any longer--adopt today!

Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, alteration, microchip and 30 days free pet insurance.
