A new year means more amazing fun in Arlington, so here are a few ways you can enjoy your weekend in The American Dream City. 

Ring in the New Year VIP Adoption Special with Arlington Animal Services

You and your family can ring in the new year by giving a VIP pet a new “leash” on life. You can adopt pets on the Arlington Animal Services’ VIP list for $15 and the special includes a brand-new leach. The special ends Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022. Dinosaur Safari Traveling Exhibit at River Legacy’s Nature Center 

Uncover the mysteries of our prehistoric past in Dinosaur Safari, River Legacy's NEW limited time traveling exhibit. In an immersive jungle setting, guests will go on an unforgettable adventure full of hands-on experiences and close encounters with animatronic dinosaurs and fossils. Children will investigate the clues these creatures have left behind in order to learn about dinosaurs and what life was like when they roamed the earth. All children must be accompanied by a paying adult. Exhibit tickets can be purchased day-of in the Nature Center gift shop on a first-come, first-serve basis. No pre-purchasing available. Exhibit runs from Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021 until Saturday, Feb. 12, 2022 and featured in River Legacy's Discovery Room. The Nature Center is open Mondays - Saturdays, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Visit River Legacy’s website calendar to see their holiday hours of operation.
