Kyle Lairson, a senior on Lamar High School’s wrestling team, has been selected as the City of Arlington’s Student-Athlete of the Month for November 2021.

Lairson is a captain for the Vikings and had an undefeated regular season his junior year.

“He’s willing to step up and help me out if I need it,” said Lamar’s Boys Wrestling Coach Joshua Sturgill. “If I don’t ask for [help], he’s like, ‘coach, what can I do?’”

Lairson, whose favorite subject is English, plans on continuing his wrestling career in college and major in business.
