 From football, turkey, volunteering to a holiday hoedown, here are a few ways to enjoy your Thanksgiving weekend in The American Dream City. 

Cowboys Host Raiders at AT&T Stadium for Thanksgiving

America’s Team returns home for Thanksgiving. Your hometown Cowboys host the Las Vegas Raiders at AT&T Stadium for the annual Thanksgiving Day NFL Game. Kickoff is slated for 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 25, 2021. Ticket information can be found here.

Mission Arlington’s Thanksgiving Meal Distribution 

Mission Arlington is gearing up for its annual Thanksgiving Meal Distribution. The nonprofit gave away more than 6,000 meals last year.

How You Can Help:

  • If you are able to donate, Mission Arlington is collecting turkeys and other food items. Those items can be dropped off at the Mission Arlington Headquarters located at 400 W. South Street. Click here for more information.
  • If you are able to volunteer, meet at Mission Arlington at 8 a.m. on Thanksgiving Thursday, Nov. 25, 2021. Learn more on the distribution at Mission Arlington’s website.

Kringle Village Holiday Hoedown at Knapp Heritage Park

A new Christmas event, the Kringle Village Holiday Hoedown at Knapp Heritage Park, is set to bring twinkling lights, live shows, Storytime with Mrs. Claus, and other family friendly festivities to Downtown Arlington this year. The event, organized by Dance Theatre of Arlington and the Arlington Historical Society, will run every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night between Nov. 26 and Dec. 19, 2021.  For more information, please visit thekringlevillage.com.
