Looking for a job? Now is the time to kick-start your career or transition into a new field. The current job market is growing and employers are offering higher salaries, educational opportunities, and so many other incentives. According to Forbes, 82 percent of U.S. employers are hiring in 2021.
New opportunities are available but some residents may be hesitant for a variety of reasons. Due to this, the Arlington Public Library is offering assistance to residents wanting to prepare for the job market. JobNow is a database that is available for all library cardholders. This resource offers the following services:
JobNow Coaches are also available every day from 2 to 11 p.m. on the JobNow website. Our librarians will also be hosting a series of information sessions.
