Public Meeting Notice

The second of three public input opportunities to help shape the City of Arlington's South SH 360 Corridor Development Strategy is open from Nov. 1-10, including a public meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 1. The public meeting will be held virtually. A link to the meeting will also be posted on the dedicated project website with materials to review and easy methods to provide input. The second public input period will unveil the preliminary recommendations for the Corridor for public review and feedback.

The City of Arlington began work on this strategy in May 2021, which will create a vision and associated implementation strategies to ensure the future success of the corridor. The study will guide future development, strengthen neighborhoods, build community capacity, improve transportation and safety, enhance economic development and position the South SH 360 Corridor as a strong southeastern gateway to Arlington.

In addition to the creation of a Community Advisory Committee, the City aims to gather significant and meaningful citizen input about the corridor through an online survey, public meetings and other community outreach events.

The public input windows are designed to provide opportunities for citizens to participate in the process, provide input, and review draft plan materials.
