The 2023 MLK ART CONTEST is open to Jr. High and High School students attending Arlington schools or residing within Arlington city limits. The winning design will be used for promotional and commemorative purposes associated with the Arlington MLK Celebration.

First Place — $1,000 Award
Second Place — $750 Award
Third Place — $500 Award

Art Contest Rules:

1. Submission deadline: 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, 2022
2. Theme: Advancing the Dream: Moving Toward Unity, Justice, and Peace
3. Designs are to be original drawings and may include original computer graphics.
4. Artwork can be supplied as a full color rendering or a black and white version. All submissions must be on 8.5 by 11-inch art paper.
5. Entries will be judged in November.
