Since its launch in December 2017, Via Rideshare customers have taken more than 722,000 trips around The American Dream City to dine out or shop, get to school or work, or attend other daily appointments.

Arlington’s on-demand, rideshare public transportation service expanded citywide earlier this year, allowing riders to reach even more destinations six days a week. More than 82,800 Via Rideshare accounts have been created to date, and more than 32,400 unique riders have used the service 10 or more times. About one-third of all trips are taken by customers who utilize the Via Pass, a weekly pass that allows riders to take up to four trips per day for $25.

The Discovery Channel’s It's How You Get There recently highlighted both Via Rideshare and Arlington RAPID, which is the City’s on-demand, self-driving public transportation pilot program. Via was also recognized as a 2021 Smart 50 Awards recipient.
