Tickets are now available for "Stars, Stripes, & Remembrance," a 9/11 memorial concert happening at the Levitt Pavilion Arlington on Saturday, September 11.

The event's headline act is country superstar Lee Greenwood, famous for his three-time chart topper "God Bless the U.S.A.," which has sold more than one million copies since its mid-1980s debut.

Country/retro rocker Deana Carter ("Strawberry Wine") will open for Greenwood, following a patriotic program paying tribute to Arlington first responders. The evening will feature remarks from Mayor Jim Ross, a bagpipe performance, and a special presentation from the National Medal of Honor Museum, which is anticipated to open in Arlington in 2024.

In addition to reserved and general seating tickets for the Greenwood show, the Levitt is also touting an opportunity to sponsor a free concert experience for North Texas first responders and healthcare workers via the Levitt's "Honor Our First Responders" ticket package.

"Honor Our First Responders" offers the opportunity for anyone to buy batches of 6,10,16 or 20 general seating tickets (or a customized block of tickets) to be donated in the purchaser's name to the EMT, police, fire or healthcare department/organization of their choice. Packages begin at $150 (plus service fees).

"This concert is going to be an amazing experience, and possibly one of the most memorable Levitt shows ever," said Letatia Teykl, the concert venue's executive director. "We'd love to give away as many tickets as we possibly can to area first responders. So we're hoping that everyone will take advantage of the opportunity to purchase tickets in their honor for what is sure to be a moving evening."

How to purchase "Honor Our First Responders" tickets:

Visit the Levitt website and purchase a batch of tickets to be donated to first responders/healthcare workers. Following your purchase, email [email protected] and let the Levitt know how you want your tickets to be distributed. (For example: "Please donate a batch of 10 tickets to the Arlington Fire Department.")

How to purchase Lee Greenwood tickets:

To purchase tickets for the Greenwood show, visit levittpavilionarlington.org. General seating tickets are $25, reserved seating is $45 (plus service fees.) A $5 discount is available for service members and first responders purchasing tickets for themselves.

Note that lawn chairs and coolers are not permitted for any ticketed Levitt Pavilion Arlington event, including the Greenwood concert. Instead, chairs will be provided for each ticket holder, and concessions are available on site. Proceeds from the Greenwood show will benefit the Levitt's free concert series, which offers 50 free outdoor live music shows in a range of genres each year.
