Runoff Election

Arlington voters elected a new Mayor and District 3 City Council representative during the June 5 2021, Runoff Election.

Jim Ross was elected to the open Mayor’s seat with 54.45% of the vote, according to unofficial vote totals. Michael Glaspie received 45.55% of the vote in the runoff election, according to unofficial totals.

Nikkie Hunter was elected to the open District 3 City Council seat with 55.65% of the vote, according to unofficial vote totals. Diana Saleh received 44.35% of the vote, according to unofficial totals.

During the May 1 General Election, Arlington voters elected Rebecca Boxall to the open City Council District 5 seat and re-elected District 4 City Council representative Andrew Piel and District 8 City Council representative Dr. Barbara Odom Wesley.
