Dog of the Week #1 - Meet Sandy

Meet Sandy. Sandy is our second chosen dog of the week. This five and half year-old female Retriever mix is tan and brown in color and weighs 52 pounds. Sandy is a calm dog willing to please. She may be a little timid at first, but you can quickly win her over. She does appreciate being petted. While she will chase toys, she doesn’t really seem into playing fetch. She is one of the few dogs to exhibit her agility by jumping over hurdles in our play yard. She does know the command of sit and walks well on a leash. Sandy has tested positive for heartworms so she will need heartworm treatment. Luckily, due to a generous donation, her heartworm treatment is sponsored. More information will be provided at time of adoption. Here’s your chance to adopt Sandy and say, “Let’s get out of here”. Meet Sandy in Dog Adoptions (DA) 7, her ID number is 46257647.

Dog of the Week #2 - Meet Prince

This eight and half month-old male shepherd mix is black, white and brown in color and weighs 53 pounds. Do you need an active dog to help you with your New Year’s resolution to get off the couch? We have an exuberant young dog eager to share exercise and playtime with a new pet guardian. Prince loves to play with toys and tends to keep moving. If you can calm him down, he does appreciate being petted. He would probably benefit from some structured training to channel his energies. A new pet guardian that is willing to spend time with Prince to positively channel his enthusiasm would be a good match . A house with a big fenced yard would be helpful as well. Meet Prince in Dog Adoptions (DA) 6, his ID number is 44863165.

Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, alteration, microchip and 30 days free pet insurance.
