The Arlington Public Library is launching the new podcast "Shelf Check." The podcast combines fun discussions and storytelling to spotlight interesting authors, literary topics and community questions. Each 30-minute episode will focus on different themes including holidays and pop culture with recommendations for both fiction and non-fiction.

“Our Adult Lifelong Learning team has been working hard to develop engaging content for the citizens of Arlington and book and library lovers,” said Stacy Garcia, Administrator for Program and Community Engagement.

Shelf Check is hosted each week by different members of the Adult Lifelong Learning team. Episodes go live Saturdays at 5 p.m., with the first episode “Sports in Uncertain Times” airing September 12, 2020. The debut podcast will take listeners into a deep dive on the topic of sports from the well-known to the obscure. Podcast listeners can find it and subscribe on Apple Podcast, Spotify and Google Podcast.
