Pets of the Week - Meet Sprinkles and Apricot

Cat of the Week – Meet Apricot

This nine-month-old female Domestic Shorthair is a red Tabby. Apricot is on the prowl for a new "purrever' home where she can be a hunter of toys. She likes toys on a string that provide her with a challenge. While she is not opposed to lap sitting, her active kitten tendencies lean toward lots of playtime. Studies have noted that red cats both purr and meow a lot and will always want to be near their favorite human. They are known for being very affectionate and not shy about expressing themselves. Apricot has her kitten pajamas already packed and is waiting for a new loving pet guardian to adopt her so she can make the move to a new home. Apricot is in Cat Adoptions (CA) 7, with ID number 45221119. Call 817-575-8128, or 817-575-8129 and provide Apricot’s ID number to schedule an appointment to meet. Currently, pet adoptions are being handled by appointment only.

Dog of the Week – Meet Sprinkles

This two-year old female Pit Bull Terrier mix is grey and white in color and weighs 42 pounds. Cupcakes or cookies with sprinkles on top always bring a smile to one's face. Now here's your chance to adopt a dog named Sprinkles and bring a smile to your face. This energetic girl tends to be very vocal and enjoys playing with toys and human interaction. The cutest thing is when she does a "butt-wiggle" while waiting for a treat or a toy. Her positive attributes include walking well on a leash, being friendly around other dogs, and just being lovable! Sprinkles has tested positive for heartworms. Her adopter will be provided information on her necessary heartworm treatment that is kindly sponsored by an outside agency. Sprinkles is in Dog Adoptions (DA) 11, with ID number 45175990. Call 817-575-8128, or 817-575-8129 and provide Sprinkles ID number to schedule an appointment to meet. Currently, pet adoptions are being handled by appointment only.

Adoption fees include all core vaccinations, alteration, microchip and 30 days free pet insurance.
