Levitt Pavilion Arlington was forced to cancel its traditional summer concert series in response to the coronavirus pandemic. But the venue continues to be a source for free, live music.

Earlier this year, the Levitt Pavilion introduced its streaming "Living Room" series. And the music will continue through July. The concerts are live-streamed on the Levitt Facebook page and later posted on Instagram. Upcoming performances include:

The Peterson Brothers
Tuesday, July 14, 8 p.m.

The Peterson Brothers combine infectious energy and modern grooves with jazz, funk, blues and soul to create their own sound. For a decade, the Texas natives have been building a fan base across America, playing both classic funk and soul and their original music that includes jam-band style improvisation by Glenn Jr. on vocals and guitar and Alex on bass, vocals and violin.

Monica Saldivar
Tuesday, July 21, 8 p.m.

Grand Prairie native Monica Saldivar won the nationwide singing competition, "Tejano Idol" in 2015 and is one of the hottest up-and-coming vocalists in Tejano. Influenced by many different genres in English and Spanish, Monica has a wide variety of music and has been featured on Spotify playlists such as New Tejano and Novedades Regional Mexicano. Monica was recently awarded Top New Female Artist at the second annual My Tejano Awards presented by the Tejano Music Hall of Fame.

Song Swap with Aaron Copeland and Steve Helms
Tuesday, July 28, 8 p.m.

Join the Levitt for a good ol' country music song swap with two of our hottest local country music singer/songwriters, Aaron Copeland and Steve Helms. Copeland recently debuted his first EP as a soloist after being with the Casey Donahew Band and Sam Riggs & the Night People. Helms is known for his new-found Texas anthem heard loud and proud at Texas sports events, "Nowhere But Texas."

The July Levitt Living Room Series is presented by Downtown Arlington.

Levitt Pavilion Arlington's fall concert season is scheduled to begin Aug. 28 with singer/songwriter Max Stalling and continue through Oct. 18. The fall season includes the annual benefit concert with Styx on Oct. 10, which requires a ticket purchase. Tickets to Styx and the Levitt concert schedule are available on the Levitt's website.
