The Beacon at Webb Community Park will offer residents a range of amenities for both fitness and fun when it opens later this year. The design features a lighted two-story atrium, which provided inspiration for the center’s name.

Construction is underway now on the two-story, 35,000-square-foot facility, approved by Arlington voters in 2014. While a community celebration for The Beacon hasn’t been set, residents of all ages can already enjoy the new public skate park.

The Beacon will include a variety of amenities both inside and out. There will be volleyball, pickleball and basketball courts along with a weight room, aerobics space, indoor track and childcare center. Outdoor amenities include an aerobics space and splashpad.

Webb Community Park is located at 1100 Mansfield Webb Road.
