A new townhome project with down payment assistance, nearly $100,000 in recently awarded neighborhood matching grants, and the availability of home rehabilitation grants are just a few of the ways the City of Arlington continues working to Champion Great Neighborhoods.

The Arlington City Council has identified Champion Great Neighborhoods as one of five key priorities. Great neighborhoods contribute to a higher quality of life and greater investment in our economy.

In east Arlington, the newly opened Bel Air on Abram townhome development is providing affordable housing options for residents with a range of price points. And through grants, qualified buyers are eligible for down payment assistance ranging from $7,500 to $35,000.

You can read about this project and more in the latest addition of the Champion Great Neighborhoods newsletter. All quarterly City Council priority newsletters are produced in a digital formal, allowing for layers of additional video content and important links.
