More than 40 teachers at Arlington ISD’s Burgin Elementary were surprised with a $10,000 donation from Burlington Stores during a campus-wide pep rally on Friday, Feb. 21.

This funding, part of the national retailer’s partnership with nonprofit AdoptAClassroom.org, will allow teachers to purchase classroom materials needed for their students to learn and succeed without having to spend out of their own pockets.

Burlington Stores Arlington Manager Danny Tatrow and Burgin Elementary Principal Christi Wilks presented teachers with the giant $10,000 check during the surprise announcement.
