1. Black History Month Festival at Arlington Public Library

Head to the Southeast Branch Sunday afternoon for a celebration of Black History Month. There will be history lessons, interactive displays, live music and step performances. The free festival runs from 2-6 p.m. Click the link above for more information. 

2. The Afro Bop Alliance Big Band at Arlington Music Hall

Latin Grammy winners The Afro Bop Alliance combine jazz and Latin sounds to create a truly unique experience. The ensemble will perform Saturday at 8 p.m. at Arlington Music Hall. Tickets are available at the link above starting at $14. 

3. Texas Mac & Cheese Festival at Texas Live!

Carb up Sunday at Texas Live! The venue is hosting a Mac & Cheese Festival complete with 40 styles of your favorite comfort food. There will also be a cheese fountain, beer garden and french fry bar. The event runs from 2-6 p.m. Tickets are available at the link above for $35. 

4. Supercross at AT&T Stadium

Off-road motorcycle action comes to AT&T Stadium Saturday. Riders with The Supercross FIM World Championship will be kicking up dust starting at 7 p.m. Tickets start at $33. 

5. Hurtado Barbecue Grand Opening

One of Arlington's favorite barbecue spots is about to have a permanent home. Hurtado Barbecue is going from food trailer to a brick-and-mortar restaurant, opening Saturday in Downtown's Urban Union. Food will be served from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. (or until the food is sold out.) 

6. "No Coast" Fest at Division Brewing

Nearly two dozen rock bands will perform this Friday and Saturday at Division Brewing in Downtown Arlington. Weekend passes to the festival are $25. 

7. UTA Basketball Doubleheader 

Enjoy a doubleheader Saturday as the UTA men's and women's basketball teams take the court. The men will face Georgia Southern, the women will take on Texas State. The action starts at 2 p.m. at College Park Center. Catch both games for just $8. 

8. Ping Pong Tournament at Legal Draft 

Put your ping pong skills to the test Friday night at Urban Union's Legal Draft Beer Co. The taproom is hosting a tournament starting at 5:30 p.m. First place wins five cases of beer. Your $25 entry fee includes three beers. 

9. Creative Aging: Dandelion Art

Never quit creating. That's the inspiration behind Arlington Public Library's Dandelion Art session. Head to the Downtown Library Friday at 10 a.m. to create beautiful art using common household objects. The event is free. 

10. Conservation Saturdays at River Legacy Living Science Center 

Explore one of Arlington's most beautiful spaces while also learning various aspects of environmental conservation. There will be crafts, animal presentations and a trail clean-up project. The free event begins at 11 a.m. Call 817-860-6752 to RSVP.
