The UTA Native American Student Association will host its 25th annual Benefit Powwow in Arlington later this month.

This free community event is set from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Saturday Feb. 29, 2020, at The University of Texas at Arlington’s Maverick Activities Center, 500 W. Nedderman Dr.

The event, which includes dance competitions, music, food, and vendors, is designed to raise money for student scholarships provided by the UTA Native American Student Association.

“It’s all about continuing on and making sure that everything we share goes into the next generation and to new friends,” said NASA President Kasey Reynolds.

This year’s event will showcase even more dancing and music along with the Kiowa Black Leggings Warrior Society to present the color guard.

Parking is free for attendees.
