UTA Spotlight: Students Spread Heart Health Awareness at Zumba Event

Greetings from The American Dream City! Be sure to tune into the newest installment of UTA Spotlight, a weekly news update featuring broadcasting students reporting on events, projects, announcements and other key news and happenings on the university campus and around Arlington.

This week’s stories include:

• UT Arlington's Campus Recreation launches a new app this semester to make program information and entrance to the building most convenient.

• The Maverick Activities Center provides several exercise programs to support resolution goals.

• Alpha Kappa Alpha chapter hosts a Zumba event at the Maverick Activities Center to get students on their feet and spread heart health awareness.

Segments run every week during the semester on Arlington’s cable channel, Spectrum Channel 16 and AT&T U-Verse channel 99.
