1. Renegades Season Opener 

Football is back in The American Dream City. The XFL Renegades kick off their season Sunday versus St. Louis at Globe Life Park. A few rules have been changed to make the game faster and even more exciting. Kickoff is at 4 p.m., and tickets start at $24. If you can't make it to the game, it will also be shown on ESPN. 

2. Sensory Art Lesson at Arlington Public Library

Join February’s Art is for Everyone Artist, Alli Rogers, and experiment with soft, fluffy, fluttery sensory art materials in this drop-in program for all ages and abilities. Play social games and add a sensory layer to Connection Zones, a collaborative art piece. All materials will be provided and no special art skills are necessary. Classes are free and open to everyone, especially beginners. Online registration is not required, but classes are first come, first served. Class starts at 2:30 p.m. at the George W. Hawkes Downtown Library. 

3. Happy Feet Ballroom Dancing Lessons

Just in time for Valentine's Day, here's your chance to learn some ballroom dance moves. Downtown Arlington and The Sanford House are teaming up to offer lessons Saturday at 6 p.m. Tickets are $10 per person. Click the link above for more information. 

4. Painting with Chocolate

It may be the most delicious art class ever. Head to the Arlington Museum of Art Friday night for a painting with chocolate class, hosted by Lindsay's Art Cart. You'll learn basic painting techniques then create your own work inspired by the museum's current exhibit. Tickets are $45 per person at the link above. 

5. Girl Scout Cookie and Beer Pairing 

Talk about a double treat! Legal Draft Beer Co., in Downtown's Urban Union, is hosting a Girl Scout Cookie and beer pairing Sunday at 1 and 3 p.m. You'll get five different cookies plus a flight of accompanying beers for $15. Tickets are available at the link above. 

6. Galentine's Party at On Tap

Ladies, this one's for you. On Tap, in Downtown Arlington, is hosting a Galentine's party Sunday from noon until 3 p.m. There will be craft beer plus the chance to sign Valentine's Day cards for women and families in shelters. Admission is free. 

7. Graceland Ninjas at Texas Live! 

Start the weekend off right with music from party band Graceland Ninjas. They'll take the stage in the Texas Live! Arena starting at 9:30 p.m. Friday. Admission is free. 

8. Community Day at O.S. Gray

Enjoy time outdoors and while helping maintain one of Arlington's most beautiful spaces. The Friends of O.S. Gray Natural Area are hosting a community day Saturday from 9 a.m. until noon. You can help with tasks from pulling weeds to planting wildflowers. The O.S. Gray Natural Area is at 2021 W. Abram Street. 

9. The Lettermen at Arlington Music Hall

For more than 50 years, The Lettermen have been making perfect harmonies. The trio will perform Friday night at Arlington Music Hall. Tickets start at $19.

10. Kids D&D Character Creation Class

If your child is into the world of Dungeons & Dragons, or looking for a new hobby, head to Wild West Comics and Games (400 E. Division Street) Saturday at noon. Kids ages 8-13 will learn how to build their own characters at this free event.
