This weekend is your chance to create memories that will last a lifetime. Arlington Parks & Recreation is hosting its annual Daddy Daughter Dance. This year's theme is "Land of Oz." There are dances Friday and Saturday evenings plus a Saturday afternoon session. The events are at Bob Duncan Center. Tickets start at $37.
Get the perfect Instagram while helping a good cause. Arlington Animal Services is hosting a Valentine's Day photo shoot Saturday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Bring your pet and a $5 donation to participate. Money raised benefits the department's animal cruelty fund. Arlington Animal Services is located at 1000 SE Green Oaks Boulevard.
Meet Arlington's newest sports team. The XFL Renegades are opening Globe Life Park Saturday for a meet-and-greet with players and coaches, an autograph session and more. The free event runs from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Parking is available in Lot J. Guests will enter through the Home Plate gate.
Are you ready to meet some rad reptiles? This is your chance to interact with snakes, lizards and geckos while learning what makes the animals such great pets. The free event is Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the Northeast Branch Library, located at 1905 Brown Boulevard.
Watch the biggest game on one of Texas' biggest screens. Texas Live!, in Arlington's Entertainment District, is hosting a Super Bowl watch party on its 100-foot screen Sunday. There will also be games, giveaways and more. Admission is free.
The immersive art experience near Globe Life Park is going into party mode. PY1 is hosting PY1 Nights Saturday at 9:30. You'll enjoy the sounds of DJ Ruckus and DJ Sober. Tickets start at $27.
Country star Neal McCoy is bringing decades of hits to Arlington Music Hall Saturday night. Tickets start at $24.
Experience the work of German Renaissance master printmaker Albrecht Dürer at the Arlington Museum of Art. The exhibit features some of Dürer's most celebrated work, credited with transforming printmaking into an art form all its own. The Museum is open Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1-5 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for students and seniors. Children 12 and under are free with a family.
Put your Madden skills to the test. Arlington Parks & Recreation is hosting a gaming tournament Saturday at Elzie Odom Athletic Center (1601 NE Green Oaks Boulevard.) You must register ahead of time to participate. Registration costs $20. The games begin at 9 a.m. The winner will receive a copy of Madden 20, a trophy and free entry into the next tournament.
Support the hometown team this weekend as the Mavericks take on Louisiana Monroe at the College Park Center. Tickets are available at the link above starting at $8. Tip-off is at 2 p.m.
