The City of Arlington's annual Aging Well Expo offers residents the opportunity to learn more about the services and programs that are available to help adults ages 50 and up live their best life here in The American Dream City.

This free community event, scheduled for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17 at the Esports Stadium Arlington & Expo Center, is expected to feature more than 100 vendors, fitness demonstrations, health screenings, housing resources, and much more.
Here are five reasons the Aging Well Expo is a must-attend event:

Fitness Demonstrations

Interested in trying new exercises? Expo participants have a chance to check out fitness demos, ranging from exercises that aim to improve your strength and flexibility to those that work to build your cardio health. Demos include pickleball, Qigong and a couple of sessions with Stella to get your body moving. It's never too late to start a fun and fit lifestyle!

Education Sessions

The Aging Well Expo has a variety of education sessions scheduled, including presentations on what’s new to Medicare, gardening & composting and more. This year’s keynote speaker is Cowboys Legend and Pro Football Hall of Famer Drew Pearson speaking on behalf of WellMed, one of the Expo’s generous presenting sponsors. Known around the NFL as “Mr. Clutch,” Drew Pearson rose from a free agent to being recognized as one of the All-Time Favorite NFL Receivers and a member of the coveted Dallas Cowboy Ring of Honor. He was named to the 1970’s NFL Hall of Fame’s All-Decade Team, named to the NFL All-Pro team three times and played in Super Bowls X, XII and XIII. Drew is a proud member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2021.
