Arlington Public Library Introduces Free "Art is for Everyone" Series

Art is for Everyone The Arlington Public Library is on a mission to prove art is for everyone. The Library has partnered with the National Endowment for the Arts to provide free art lectures and lessons to Arlington residents.

Five artists will lead the program, rotating monthly through May. The featured artists include:

  • January: Tschaner Sefas 
  • February: Alli Rogers
  • March: Sumbal Mushtaq
  • April: Sara Easter
  • May: Bill O'Rly

The program concludes in June with a gallery exhibit featuring art created by Arlington residents. 

Classes will be held the Maker Space at the George W. Hawkes Downtown Library, and you do not have to register to attend. There will be a wide array of disciplines and techniques on display. All materials are provided and no special art skills are necessary.
