1. PY1 Experience

You've likely seen the giant pyramid next to Globe Life Park and wondered what's inside. PY1, as it's known, is an immersive art experience featuring lasers, lights, sounds, video and a cast of performers. There are two family-friendly shows plus nighttime events for adults 21 and up. 2. CREATE Studio for Families 

Bring the whole family to the George W. Hawkes Downtown Library Saturday to explore a room of recycled materials and supplies. Choose the materials you want to use, how you want to use them and make something amazing together. There will also be other activities available including the marble run wall, button maker, Dash + Dot robots, perler beads and 3D pens. The Studio is open from 1-5 p.m. and admission is free. 

3. "Ripcord" at Theatre Arlington

Theatre Arlington's latest production tells the story of two women forced to room together in a senior living facility. And let's just say things get off to a rocky start. But the journey eventually leads to moments of self-reflection. There are performances Friday and Saturday evenings plus a Sunday matinee. Tickets are $26 at the link above.

4. Super Smash Bros. Tournament 

This weekend is your chance to put your Super Smash Bros. skills to the test during a tournament at Meadowbrook Recreation Center. Controllers will be provided or you can bring one from home. Pre-registration is required and costs $20 per entrant. The winner will receive a copy of the game, a trophy and a spot in an upcoming Madden tournament. 

5. IMPACT Wrestling at Texas Live!

Head to Texas Live! Saturday afternoon for the Arlington Brawl. The venue's Backyard space will be transformed for an afternoon of wrestling and a fanfest event. Tickets are available at the link above for $10. 

6. Albrecht Dürer Exhibit at Arlington Museum of Art 

Experience the work of German Renaissance master printmaker Albrecht Dürer at the Arlington Museum of Art. The exhibit features some of Dürer's most celebrated work, credited with transforming printmaking into an art form all its own. The Museum is open Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1-5 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for students and seniors. Children 12 and under are free with a family. 

7. DFW Toy Expo

It's a child's dream — or a child at heart. Head to the Bob Duncan Center Saturday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. for the DFW Toy Expo. Vendors will be selling everything from tabletop games to Transformers. Tickets are $5 and available at the link above. 

8. Live Music at Grease Monkey

Head to Downtown Arlington Saturday night to experience the music of Abbey Brown and The Sound. The group will take the stage at 9 p.m. and admission is free. 

9.  Pink Floyd Tribute at Arlington Music Hall

Enjoy the sounds of classic rock icons Pink Floyd. Arlington Music Hall is hosting a tribute to the band Saturday night. Tickets start at $14. 

10. Vegas Stars at Texas Live!

Pick a decade and you're likely to hear one of the era's biggest hits. The Vegas Stars will perform songs form the 70s, 80s and 90s Friday night at Texas Live! along with today's top hits. The show starts at 9:30 in the Live! Arena. Admission is free.
