Arlington Tennis Center is an award-winning public facility, with numerous recognitions at both the state and national level. ATC is located in south Arlington at 500 W. Mayfield Road. ATC opened in January, 1995, and is fully owned and operated by the City of Arlington. There are 26 lighted outdoor courts, including six 10 and Under courts for children, a full-service pro shop, concession area, plus locker rooms with showers.

ATC's teaching staff are certified professionals (including two top level P-1), with additional on-court staff hired during peak seasons. ATC offers classes, drills and leagues for players of all ages and skill levels from beginner to advanced levels. ATC also has recreational leagues available for both men and women at a variety of times.

ATC’s pro shop has the latest in tennis equipment, as well as a great variety of tennis-themed gifts. ATC also has ball machines and demo racquets available for use on site, as well as prompt stringing service by highly qualified professionals.

ATC staff host frequent special events, including numerous sanctioned tournaments, national events and US Open Sectional Qualifying tournament. In addition, ATC is the host site for dozens of other tournaments and events each year.

ATC staff are proud employees of the nationally recognized City of Arlington Parks and Recreation Department, and the staff also works closely with the national and sectional United States Tennis Associations. ATC also partners with the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) national and sectional organizations, the Arlington Tennis Association (local community tennis association), the University of Texas at Arlington tennis program and the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) for many programs and events.
